When I decided to pursue schooling for the Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I had no idea that I would find my life’s purpose. My interests continue to shift as life’s transitions and my personal experience guide the focus of my practice, but every interest is a branch from the same tree, rooted deeply in my sole passion: to offer physical, mental and emotional balance to every individual who seeks it. While these two areas are where the majority of my focus has been, I am also very passionate about my general practice. I enjoy treating children and witnessing how quickly they benefit from acupuncture and the other modalities used within the scope of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since becoming a mother myself, my interest in pediatrics has also bloomed. The breadth of my advanced training and clinical experience has been working with women in their journeys through fertility, pregnancy and postpartum. I have been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2008, and every client I see, each with their own unique story and concerns, rekindles the fire I have for my career. I welcome everyone who comes through our doors and I respect the journeys we are all on.

My treatments tend to be slow and specific and are continually evolving as I continue to learn. It holds us together and it offers a unique way to access the nervous system and bring harmony to our various systems. Fascia is the continuous connective tissue that runs throughout our entire bodies, our muscles, our bones, our organs and our brains.
I am particularly interested in fascia and the role it plays in our overall health. I blend my modalities to address the unique body and mind of the person I am working with. I use many techniques and approaches ranging from relaxation to deep tissue work, from focusing on silent, peaceful massages, to ones that incorporate movement, client feedback and education.

I have taken professional development courses in soft tissue release, kinetic massage, hot stone massage and mindful meditation massage. It’s everything as a whole and I am always working to find new ways to bring unity to my clients. It’s never just the body, just the mind, just the circumstances or stress. I graduated with honors from M H Vicars, and over the course of my career, I have come to embrace wholeness.
